We're crazy about games. Playing them, making them, reading about them, watching others play them - we can't get enough! Our gamer minds were shaped during the Wild West era of video games, when game makers just did whatever the heck they thought would be fun. So our hearts belong to the world of game overs, Konami codes, hidden easter eggs and "figure it out" exploration. It was a tough love mentality with no hand-holding, and man did we love it.

But it didn't stop there for us, and as we continued to play games over the years and later began our little odyssey into the world of game development, we saw the trends shift and change. What's working now isn't exactly what was working twenty or thirty years ago. Today many gamers want short sessions, frequent guideposts and a constant stream of extremely satisfying feedback. "Hooray!" we say, because as things change, new great stuff is born. And we here at Crystal Fish want to have our own little piece of the greatness.

So who are we? We are gamers, of generations past and present. We love where we came from but always keep our eyes towards the future too. While making the kinds of games we played as kids is always a goal of ours, we strive for the horizon at all times, combining elements of the past and the future, and always reaching for the unmade.
